Swahili Village Newark Unveils ‘Pamoja’ Event Series, Celebrating African Culture, Community
Newark’s Swahili Village is set to launch its much-anticipated monthly event series, “Pamoja,” starting in the fall of 2024. The event which is set to take place in 2 Center St, Newark, NJ is designed to go beyond the typical meet-and-greet format, allowing for a deeper connection through a podcast-style Q&A session.
“Pamoja,” which translates to “together in Swahili, aims to foster a closer connection in an intimate and relaxed setting with great food and drinks. Each ticket includes dinner, a personal photo, and the opportunity to engage in an intimate conversation where the guest celebrities will share insights and answer questions from the audience.
