Apart from appointing Technocrats to man certain sensitive positions, appointments into positions of responsibility under the All Progressives Congress, APC led government at any level should be based on proven track records of hardwork and victory for the party in the just concluded polls.

Members of the Neighbourhood Coalition,a socio-political support organisation of the APC rose from a meeting in Calabar yesterday with a resolve to remind the leadership of the party in all spheres that arrangements for victory in the next dispensation begins from now.

The group maintained that the party’s victory in 2027 and beyond is determined greatly by the calibre of persons fielded as appointees of government.

National Coordinator of the organisation’s, Emmanuel Stephen Enang who briefed newsmen shortly after the organisation’s meeting said the time has come for the party to reward hardwork, dedication and loyalty to the party emphasising that,members who have been found in this light should be appointed or given opportunities to demonstrate their passion for the party to the fullest.

“If truly this era smacks off the Monkey work, Monkey Chop  Mantra,then those who worked for the party’s victory at any level should be rewarded accordingly.”

Enang noted that only a commensurate reward would stand to assuage the pains and losses occasioned by the passion and loyalty of such persons.

He remarked that this will give them reasons to do more for the party in subsequent dispensations.

The group said, there’s nothing wrong to appoint Technocrats where necessary,but that recourse to the reward system where hardworking party members are made to benefit is important to cover for past losses and project a seamless victory for the party in the years ahead.

The Coalition praised President Bola Tinubu for leading the pack of rewarding hardwork, commitment and loyalty and urged other APC Governors to follow in the steps of Mr. President for sustainability of the victory.

“President Tinubu has pointed to a direction which all the APC Governors must follow in the area of appointments if the party must achieve a seamless victory in the years ahead.”.

The group reiterated their resolve to support the APC led administration at all levels in the interest of the Nation’s prosperity.
